Greens Urge Rethink of Investment on CSG; Want Scientific Analysis of Emissions

THE Greens have warned that billions of dollars worth of coal seam gas investments could become "stranded assets" within decades under the government's carbon pricing scheme.
Greens MP Adam Bandt, a powerful crossbencher in the lower house, today urged Labor to rethink investment in coal seam gas, saying the impact of “fugitive” emissions from the sector was far worse than those posed by carbon dioxide.
