Gloucester Represented at CSG Inquiry

Manning Alliance, the peak body opposing CSG drilling in the Manning Valley, has announced the Barrington Gloucester Stroud Preservation Alliance has now been invited to give evidence at the NSW Upper House Inquiry into Coal Seam Gas to be held in Taree next Monday.
Announcing the reversal of an earlier decision, Manning Alliance chairman Peter Epov said he was pleased there has been a review and that Gloucester has now been invited to give evidence.
"Gloucester is the CSG hotspot in NSW. A great deal can be learnt from their experiences," Mr Epov said.
"Companies wanting to extract coal seam gas there have been given approval for 110 production wells with a further 300 on the way so their contribution to the debate is not only essential, but critical."
