Sunday, 8pm-Ish:

She's a young woman and it's her birthday.
She's not with us though; she's talking on the phone inside. Has been for a long time.
Out here on the verandah, a shriek goes up and everyone looks to see a shooting star crash land in Kyogle.
"Wow," says someone. "Magic night."
I don't see the shooting star because my neck is stiff from brushcutting and I can't turn quickly. Anyway, you see one meteor smash into a town and you've seen them all.
