The Murray Darling River System starts in Queensland and flows through NSW, ACT, VIC and finishes in SA. The Queensland Government recently gave Origin Energy and Conoco Phillips approval to dump eight Olympic swimming pools worth of treated Coal Seam Gas water per day into the Murray Darling River System.
